PREVIEW TELECLASSES—LISTEN TO THE RECORDINGS HERE!

Two preview teleclasses that will introduce you to this fascinating and useful new information:

#1  Are You Too Affected by the Criticism or Approval of Others?

#2  How to Stand Up for Yourself

How would you complete these sentences?

I can’t express who I really am because___________

They always said I was too_____________

That made me feel_________________

That made me think I was_______________

Thinking that way about myself made me feel______________

And ever since, I have been ___________ (limiting behaviors, body symptoms)

What if you could look at your face and your body
and understand at the deepest level why you completed these sentences the way you did?

And what if this knowledge helped you to not only change your behaviors and how you feel about yourself, but leads to powerful change in your body and your life?

In this retreat we will learn about the primary sensitive traits, how they show up in our personalities and our bodies, and what are their hidden strengths.

We will learn that we have more choice in our perceptions and behaviors than we ever realized.

We will also learn to use the tools of EFT and other energy methods to bring harmony, ease and spaciousness into how we express ourselves in the world through those traits.

We’ll learn how to use all this knowledge to help ourselves, our clients, our friends and families.

This retreat will be so interesting and useful for all kinds of people—counselors, teachers, EFT and other energy method practitioners, parents, spouses and partners, people in business….

Everyone can benefit from being able to look at themselves, or another person, and know right away how this person in the mirror, or this person in your life, is likely to think and function in the world.

Understand right away how best to connect with each person individually for peace and creative productivity.

This is a wonderful opportunity to spend time in a beautiful natural setting, exploring cutting edge transformational concepts, among people who are like-minded and like-hearted, and who are spiritual colleagues. This is a gift that you deserve.  It is truly the gift that will keep on giving in your life.

Come to this wonderful retreat to generate an inner experience of deeply and completely loving and accepting yourself. It is your human birthright!

YOUR PRESENTERS

two deep-hearted, high-spirited women:

Julie Spangler and Rue Hass

Rue Hass

EFT Founding Master

Rue fits the temperament profile of the Highly Sensitive Person, or “Idealist/Healer.” She has been in private practice for 25 years as a Spiritual Life Coach and Intuitive Mentor. Her background includes university teaching, staff member of the Findhorn Foundation in Scotland and extensive practice in psycho-spiritual philosophy and therapeutic energy methods.  She is an ordained minister/priest with the Lorian Association. Her teaching style is open, welcoming, clear, grounded, intuitive and flexible.  As a presenter she has been described as “very natural and easy. Quirky, interesting and warm.”

Rue says:
I am often asked this question: “How can I get rid of this awful sensitivity?” The asker wants me to tell them how to do EFT to make their sensitivity go away so that she or he can just “be normal.”

A sensitive person has probably had a lifetime of being told, or thinking about themselves, that they are just too sensitive, cry too easily, take things in too deeply. They hear from others, or ask themselves “What is wrong with you?” They are fed up with themselves, tired of feeling so victimized by the world all the time, tired of trying so hard to be perfect, tired of trying to save the world to make it a safe place for themselves to be.

People with a highly sensitive temperament take everything in more deeply than most people do. They feel emotions more deeply and feel pain more intensely. They worry more. They are more inclined to become overwhelmed and to blame themselves for what is going wrong in their lives.

If you or someone you know has a highly sensitive temperament, this retreat can be a special blessing. It will help you to see and accept yourself or them differently. It will help you to ease and transform physical and emotional “stuck stuff.”

In this retreat you will learn to:

  • Reframe and re-purpose your traits into gifts
  • Discover the wonderful secret behind being “introverted” or “shy”
  • Tap problems into resources
  • Invite movement where you are feeling stuck

Create a living metaphor for your own spiritual emergence that will continue to grow and bloom for your lifetime.

It is remarkable that when we change our perception of ourselves, we automatically change our perception of the world. And then the world changes!

(Note: You will learn how to do EFT in this retreat, but the class does not lead to EFT Certification)

Julie Spangler

Personologist

Julie  is a certified counselor who has been teaching Personology  for  35 years, with humor and appreciation for the gifts inherent in all of the traits.  She was part of the original administrative group at the spiritual community of Findhorn in Scotland. She is an ordained minister/priest with the Lorian Association and has been working to help develop its education program in Incarnational Spirituality.  A mother of four, she also teaches parenting classes for the parents of pre-school age children.

Julie says:
Have you ever wondered how who you are is related to how you look?  More and more research is being done on exploring physical characteristics and their corresponding character traits.

Personology is a method of understanding the personality, that uses specific body  and facial measurements to identify traits which influence how we engage with and interpret our world.

During the retreat, I will “spot measure” some of the key traits of the sensitive temperament, and introduce you to them.

I can show you how to measure your own specific physical proportions that show up in you as your traits, so that you can get a handle on how you are “built” to interact with your world.

You will get a sense of how these traits operate within you. You will also learn how to understand the behavior of people you are relating to.

I believe that everyday life can be a spiritual practice, with the intent to extend blessing for the greater good of all we touch.

I see each person as individualized spirit expressing through a unique, inherited structure.  The structure of our bodies is both inherited genetically and is changed and impacted by our experience.  The way our bodies are built is a reflection of the psychological process through which we encounter our world.

No two people are the same.  Everyone knows this, but do we realize how much we experience the world differently?  We can measure and chart these traits, giving you a “picture” of your automatic psychological patterns and how they interact with others.

  •  How do I communicate?  With lots of words, or with few words?
  • Do I get react quickly, or am I laid back and easy going?
  • Do I move quickly into action, or do I wait and think before I move?
  • How do I feel with people whose reactions are opposite to mine?

Knowing how we are built to function automatically and unconsciously gives us the information to change what doesn’t work for us.

We have the ability to choose another mode of expression.

When we understand our patterns, we can direct the creative unfoldment of our Self, its powers and potentials. Our conscious choice will always supersede the inherent tendencies.  This is why this Personology is such a powerful tool.

Over my 35 years’ experience with this body of knowledge, I have seen what a powerful tool it is for people who wish to work more effectively in their lives and relationships.

Some of the Personology Traits of Sensitivity

In this retreat we will learn how to recognize and make friends with these traits (and many more) in the faces and bodies that we see, especially the one in the mirror:

  • High Critical Perception—a tendency to see the flaws
  • Low Ego—the environment feels larger than the self, leading to a feeling of overwhelm
  • High Ego—“everything challenging is bigger than I am, and I am strong, so the challenge must be really big”
  • Low Physical Insulation—physical sensitivity to the environment
  • Forward Ego Balance—sensitivity to what other people think/feel; needs the spotlight and fears it at the same time
  • Esthetic Appreciation—the deep need for beauty and harmony, on all levels

Then there are traits that we communicate with, which might keep others from noticing our sensitivity. Among them are :

  • High Ego—we come across strong, but may feel differently inside
  • Automatic Resistance—when we feel pressure, we say and act “No” before thinking
  • Authoritativeness -  our words come out much stronger than we intend
  • Forcefulness  – the drive to act feels powerful and pushy to others

Rue:
It has long been my intuitive feeling that exceptional sensitivity is pointing towards a deeper capacity for being human than we have been aware of.What if our sensitivity can open access for us into deeper senses that go beyond seeing, hearing and touch into a more subtle spiritual realm? What if we have been given a gift that we haven’t been receiving?Caring for your own spirit is your personal contribution to healing the soul of the Earth. The world needs what you have to offer!

Come to this retreat to deepen, enhance, protect, honor,

and make use of your sensitivity
to improve your life
and the life of the world.

KIND COMMENTS - JULIE

  • Personology is an important spiritual tool - David Spangler
Personology gives us direct and immediately useful insights into the somatic intelligence of our physical body, our primary partner in incarnation.

In my own spiritual journey and work, Personology has been the most important tool for self-knowledge I've had to work with. It has been invaluable to me in so many areas of my life: in personal relationships, in my work with the subtle worlds, in self-understanding.

Personology gives me a default baseline for the perceptual and attitudinal filters created by my body's structure and thus tells me how I may automatically respond to events and people in my life. This information liberates me to choose how I will mindfully respond.

Personology is a tool for self-crafting and for partnering with life from a position of sovereignty and strength. The knowledge it gives me is one of the primary ways I have for discovering my wholeness.
  • Seeing myself
The Personology chart Julie did for me helped me to see myself in entirely new ways!
  • Relaxing about my differences
I didn’t realize, until I learned about just one personology trait, that I thought everyone thought the way I thought, and when my friend didn’t respond the way I would she just wasn’t kind, or didn’t care for me. Knowing that we think differently and interact differently, because I have people interest and she has things interest, opened up the world to a whole new interpretation. It has helped me appreciate me more, and relax about my differences from someone else.
  • An experience of wholeness-making
Sitting with Julie and exploring together the unique characteristics of my micro-physicality and the intricate and intimate intertwining of my psyche and inner nature was an experience of wholeness-making. I felt held in a loving field of deep understanding and Connection.
  • Understanding my inner call
Julie Spangler brought me such useful insights from her Personology charts. I encourage anyone who wants deeper insights into the underlying patterns of their life to experience her deft understanding of the relationship between our physical structure and inner calls.
  • A tool for growth
The application of what I learned from the Personology reading Julie did for me continues to benefit me – and those around me! – years later. It is remains a current tool for growth, understanding and compassion in my life.

KIND COMMENTS - RUE

  • Your presence combines stillness and purpose
Rue—you speak in poetry—the poetry of intelligent compassion, of humour, of wisdom and of modesty. I often feel lifted out of myself just by your beautiful and apt choice of words. You cut to the heart of a situation with no fuss and with great gentleness, all of which imparts a great sense of safety.

Your presence combines stillness and purpose in a way I have never before encountered. Although I am sure your reaching this point represents a very long journey on your part, it sits so lightly on you. Thank you for making this journey on behalf of us all.
  • I learned to treasure myself
I gained a wonderful sense of the sacredness of each of us. Rue's beautiful guided meditations and gentle sensitive demos helped me come to treasure myself and others much more than ever before...

One demo in particular had us all in tears as we all tapped along as Rue gently guided a disconnected inner child back into the arms of its older self. Rue showed us how to stay right with the client and not jump into interpretations or assumptions, instead having faith in the client's own process to produce the perfect path through the session. So moving—we were often speechless after Rue's demos.
  • I am becoming clear that I am worthy
Rue's Yum and Yuk process provided a way for me to tune in to my intuition about what is right for me in a much clearer way than I'd had previously. I've already used that technique several times since the workshop, and it has been very helpful. I also benefitted greatly from the tapping on fears about becoming more spiritual.
  • I experienced profound emotional shifts
I’m so grateful to have been Rue’s volunteer for one of the demonstrations and know without a doubt that I experienced profound emotional shifts on the subconscious level. Am still sifting through the inner rubble and can hardly wait to see how these changes express themselves in my daily life. Besides working with the new techniques we learned, I hope to approach EFT with a greater sense of freedom and trust in my intuition. I love what Rue said about EFT being neutral and her mention of going with her interest and curiosity. This encourages me to incorporate tools I use in other modalities as well as feeling free to ask lots of questions.
  • You brought your thoughts into words and we all laughed
I just love witnessing you work, Rue. I really valued your demonstrations of EFT by using volunteers and I loved the way you brought your thoughts into words and we all laughed.
  • Something shifted for me about being sensitive
For the first time I began to have some hope that being sensitive might be both a positive thing - even a profound thing, and something that could offer a real contribution to the world. I've read a lot of what you have written on this subject, but have had to mentally stretch to encompass the idea that being sensitive can be a positive thing. Something you said about the possibility of sensitivity as an opening or a doorway into even deeper sensing realms, calls to me, appeals to me.
  • You witnessed our innate goodness
Your statement that we should "bloom from the center of goodness that we already are" really set the tone of acceptance and freedom of movement that made this class special. It felt like you had witnessed our innate goodness and when we were grounded in that, oddly enough, we were able to move. I appreciate your observation that even the word "healing" carries a connotation that something is wrong. Witnessing and bringing out what is divinely imperfectly perfect feels so much better than "fixing" someone!
  • Mirroring back to me the True Self that I AM
I thank you so much for all you helped me with, for your patience, your loving heart, your perseverance and insight - and most of all for your mirroring back to me the True Self that I AM - in ways that were so honest and true that I could receive them fully, and not deflect them back with denial. If you had not been the sincere, honest person you are, I could not have heard you tell me the kind of person you see in me, and believe it! And know it!

FEEDBACK FROM
PAST PARTICIPANTS

  • Heart-filling gift
It was inspiring to spend time with such a wonderful grouP of people and absorb every presenter's insights and experiences like a sponge! Everyone, including the participants, showed up with such love and authenticity, it was a heart-filling gift to experience and enjoy. Love and blessings!

  • Touched by the spirit of Sunrise Ranch
Besides the wonderfully inspiring presenters and open-hearted participants, I was touched by the spirit of Sunrise Ranch--by the faces of those who cared for us, the organic food that nurtured the body, and the historic Presence of Ranch, which, if I were "tuned in," gave breath to my feet as I felt Her Self feeding my cells. Indeed, the experience was magic, and I thank you, Rue, for holding this container of life for myself . . .for all of us.
  • Could get to know each other
I think we all agreed that Sunrise Ranch is a wonderful space to meet in! I loved the dorm/hallway/shared bathrooms/Rim Rock Café experience. It gave us a chance to really know who the others are and gave us more opportunities to tap with each other and be invited to outings.
  • Made connections
I would love to return. I made connections with many that will become tapping buddies and friends and maybe even clients. I am open to the wonderful surprises the Universe brings!

  • EFT camaraderie
It has brought me deep and wonderful friendships. I know there are people I can ask questions regarding EFT and that is a major gift that will help me in all I do from this day forward. I now have EFT camaraderie.
  • Now I have an EFT family
I have loved EFT since I discovered it, but my business partner and I felt somewhat isolated. I now feel like I have an EFT family, people to go to with questions, ideas and successes. I will never be able to thank you enough for this opportunity.
  • A safe place for me to be
One of my last traumatizing events happened in a 30 person personal growth setting/venue 16 years ago. Although I have worked one on one with a therapist, I have not been willing to place myself in this similar type of situation until this past weekend. I truly and profoundly thank you for making this a safe place for me to be the entire time.
  • Greater sense of freedom and trust
Besides working with the new techniques we learned, I hope to approach EFT with a greater sense of freedom and trust in my intuition. I love Rue’s mention of going with her interest and curiosity. This encourages me to incorporate tools I use in other modalities as well as feeling free to ask lots of questions.
