Healing What Hurts When You Are Highly Sensitive

A complimentary one and a half hour class,  just to try it out!

Our topic will be WANTING:

Were you allowed to want something for yourself?

Do you know what you want?

Do you know how to know what you want?

Did you grow up thinking it wasn’t OK for you to want?

Maybe you had to give all your attention to what someone else wanted?

We will be working with these and other related questions in this next complimentary teleclass.

Does EFT in a Large Group Make you Nervous?

When you first read about the EFT Circle that I am starting, did you think “Oh, I’d really like to do that, it is just what I need! Oh…but I have never done a teleclass before. It is unfamiliar – that makes me anxious. I don’t know how to do this. I am shy in a group.”

I really want you to re-consider this! I had those same thoughts when I first learned about teleclasses.

A Low-Stress Low-Risk EFT Circle Primer

I am going to offer a complimentary class for you to try out, so you can experience in a low risk way how teleclasses are a good option for a highly sensitive individual.

You may find, of course, that teleclasses are not the best modality for you personally. That in itself is a good learning.

But keep your mind open, because look what is possible:

  • You can speak if you want to, and if you don’t, no one will notice. This is a remarkable way to be fully present AND invisible! What a combination for a sensitive soul.
  • There are no expectations, so no performance anxiety.
  • is nothing you have to “get right” or “do perfectly.” You don’t even have to “make yourself” do something hard, or “soldier on” when you don’t feel like it.
  • And if you do speak, you don’t have to have all those people turning to look at you!
  • You can introduce yourself to EFT, learning it easily and painlessly in these teleclasses. AND/OR you can deepen your understanding and learn some new tricks.
  • You can learn how effective EFT can be over the telephone. If you are a practitioner this experience will help you to expand the effectiveness of your practice.
  • You can feel proud of yourself for mastering a new technology! (You will be surprised at how easy it is…)
  • Having a sensitive temperament, you naturally want to help other people – but it is so easy to get overwhelmed and lose your own sense of self. With EFT’s remarkable “Borrowing Benefits” you can tap along with everyone else using the words of the person who is the demonstration volunteer, while holding your own issue in mind, and just your presence in the group helps to create a powerful healing energy field that benefits all of us.
  • At the same time, you will notice that your own issue becomes less painful, less overwhelming, less limiting, just by your tapping along! We are that powerful when we hold each other in the safety of a Circle.
  • A teleclass like this one is the perfect way for you to maintain your own grounded center, while helping others.
  • And speaking of safety – not only do these teleclasses have a ground rule of confidentiality, but also you are surrounded with many more people who are like you than most other groups you would find yourself in. This is a group you BELONG in!
  • Telephone work is a good way to train and deepen your intuition and your focus. It is an invitation to your inner mind to attend to the energy presence that you can sense in another person’s voice and in the group. This intuitive ability improves with experience.

I invite you to come along for this complimentary class, so you can experience all this first hand.

There is no hard sell here, and no trying to manipulate you into giving up your money or your time. I truly believe that for most of you this will be a good and useful experience, and so I want to make it as easily available as I can.

  10. mary c. toohey Says:

I am confused about what this is. I don’t know what a teleclass is and then you mention talking on the telephone. Is this for an hour on my cell phone? (Our home phone does not have long distance calling. ) I don’t have an MP3 format, nor an Ipod and not Skype! I know it sounds like I live in the dark ages! I would love an explanation. Thank you. Mary

  11. rue Says:

  17. Kathy Says:

So sorry for the technical difficulties last night during the telecast. I was also sorry to
hear your observation that Gary Craig may have oversold the swift and effectiveness of EFT. Sometimes we may get too lengthy and rambling with words that can cause confusion & therefore take longer to have a more rapid effect. The tap-ping can always help even if the words do not. I have only been tapping & sharing this wonderful gift for six months and see 1 minute wonders often. Keep up your good work.

  18. rue Says:

Thank you for your comment, Kathy. I don’t think that Gary Craig has oversold the swiftness and effectiveness of EFT. It does wok miraculously well and is rapid. My point was that *only* emphasizing these aspects has a drawback – when the issues are very complex it often takes many sessions to untangle and work through them. If people think it is “supposed ” to be a one minute wonder, and it isn’t working that way for them right then, it can re-inforce their feeling that “I must be doing it wrong,” or worse, “There must be something wrong with me.”

  19. sara Says:

About Rue’s point that complex issues may take more time to resolve – EFT offers both powers: to give some feeling release very quickly (which is often enough to shift perspective & behavior), AND through each quicker shift (or sometimes interesting block), to take someone gently through the layers of an issue that does require more steps. The speed of getting some result is great encouragement for doing tapping. But awareness that what comes up during tapping is following one’s own clues to unfolding is essential too. Yes, because sometimes more steps are necessary to “fix” a problem. But as much because that focus takes someone deeper into the self-acceptance & openness that’s core to the method.

  20. Connie Says:

I absolutely LOVE the “This is where I Stand” book … it is so me … my EFT counsellor has helped me so much to get over the things that have gripped me … he also pointed me to you for the highly sensitive types … thank you for helping in all you do

  21. Sue Powell Says:

I am sorry that I will be unable to ‘attend’ the teleclass on 21 April. I am working and cannot be free at that time. However, I would really like to be able to receive a copy of the recording when it is done. Thank you very much.

  22. Sue Powell Says:

PS. Its my birthday on the 21st … so perhaps there will be a ‘gift’ in the message for me. Thanks for all your work and generosity. x

  23. Karen Hodson Says:

    Hi Rue,
I met you in Denver and purchased your books. I work so can’t attend but will love hearing the teleclass after – thanks. I have mentioned your sensitive focused work to a number of people including clients and in classes, and have borrowed your statement “its safe to be sensitive” and “the world needs more sensitive people – its a true gift” which has helped and opened up people (including me) to see their gifts in a new light. Thanks for doing what you do!

  24. rue Says:

If you register for the class, you will receive the recording.

    Thank you for your interest!

    Rue

  25. nina Says:

Could I have the link to the previous teleclass? Also, is there somewhere I can subrscribe to future teleclasses and maybe even previous teleclasses?

    Kind regards

  26. Mim Grace Says:

Hi! I look forward to taking your teleclass but won’t be able to get on till about 1:15 PM… hope that’s alright. Thanks! Mim Grace

  27. Pam Lester Says:

    Dear Rue,

I am so very grateful for the generous gift of these monthly calls. They are perfectly ” on target” and your gentle encouragement of each volunteer tapper’s healing journey is a wonderful model–especially for practitioners in the group. You have surely demonstrated what it means to be a “Master” many times over.

    Best always,
    Pam

  28. rue Says:

Thank you Pam! What a wonderful comment!

    Blessings -

    Rue

  29. rue Says:

That is OK! The call will be muted, so you won’t interrupt by coming in late.

  30. rue Says:

You sign up for teleclasses on this page, or by clicking the link in the “Save the Date” note at the top of the page.
There is no link for all past teleclasses. Here is the link for the April 2010 one:

  31. Isabelle Says:

Your May 19th teleclass seems like a great topic but by your summary it doesn’t seem to fit my situation. My problem with wanting has always been that after I get what I want or asked for, there is the “unexpected” aftermath incident that is difficult to cope with and cancels out the original joy of the receiving. For example, getting a job I wanted only to find it was a bad fit and having to resign or being fired without notice.

Perhaps in the future you can do something like “When you accidentally manifest a monster”, sounds like a Harry Potter class, I know.

  32. rue Says:

I think it would still be relevant. A good EFT set up phrase for this situation would be “Even though after I get what I want or asked for, there is the “unexpected” aftermath incident that is difficult to cope with and cancels out the original joy of the receiving….” And then tap for all your feelings, and all the situations where that has happened, so that you can allow a different belief about wanting and receiving to emerge.

    Rue

  33. JenMahrie Says:

Ok, so just checking… is it okay to try and use skype as a phone line? Other wise I only have a cell phone.
    Thanks,
    Jen

  34. rue Says:

Skype is OK, unless you will be talking. Then voices are sometimes not clear.

  35. Joan Says:

I’m stumbled upon your class today after it was over. Is it possible to receive a recording of the class? Thank you.

  36. Judy Rosso Says:

Dear Rue, I just heard the recording with Kathryn tapping on her younger self. I actually followed along with another perspective that I think might be interesting to you and yours: when I was a young bride of 18, my husband (ex-husband!) surprised me by beating me. It was actually the first of many years of beatings. That was many years ago but I realized, during your work with Kathryn, that the first hit from him has been keeping me in a kind of fearful and uncertain and dangerous-environment place for all this time…48 years!! So while Kathryn tapped on her 5 year old self, I did the same with the 18 year old me. Thank you both!! Big hugs from Italy, Judy Rosso

  37. andrew Says:

thanks for all your efforts Rue

  38. rue Says:

Thank you Judy. I am so glad you could translate Kathryn’s tapping so that the session was useful to you. It is such a good example of how we can benefit by following along with someone else’s session and “borrow” their benefits.

    Blessings to you -

    Rue

  39. rue Says:

When you register for a class, you will automatically be sent the recording.
