Artful EFT Work

Tapping into Your Own Creative Healing Power

By telephone, email, instant messaging or in person.

Energy Psychology
I teach easy to learn methods of dissolving anxiety and stress, easing both physical and emotional pain, releasing fears and negative or limiting beliefs of any kind. They are based on five thousand years of practical study in Chinese Medicine of how the energy system of the body is affected by negative emotion.

These methods work literally in a matter of minutes, replacing emotional distress with a form of peace, calm or confidence.

One of these remarkable and refreshing new approaches is called Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). In essence it is like yoga for the emotions and the spirit, or a psychological version of acupuncture except that needles aren’t necessary. It involves tapping gently on the stress relief points of the body with the fingertips, places we instinctively touch or rub anyway when we are upset, like around the eyes and on the chest.

Features

  • The results are usually long lasting.
  • The process is relatively gentle.
  • Most people can apply the techniques to themselves.
  • It is inexpensive to learn and use, and easy to teach in a group while still maintaining individual privacy.
  • It often provides relief for physical pain, headaches and addictive cravings.

Where it has been useful
EFT has been proven clinically effective in the Veterans Administration with many of our Vietnam War Veterans. It has helped in weight loss programs and has also assisted students with “learning blocks.” It has provided noticeable gains in many performance areas such as sports, music and public speaking. Those who meditate find that EFT allows them to “go deeper” and mental health professionals are reporting dramatic improvements in their clients’ well being.

For more information
EFT does not do everything for everyone and is still in the experimental stage. However, the clinical results over the last 5 years have been remarkable. For more information, visit the EFT web site at:  www.emofree.com

This is wonderful healing work that is easy to learn, highly effective, and an empowering self care tool that puts the ability to clear your path toward inner peace literally into your own hands. It is best to get started by working with an accomplished practitioner for a time to get experience and a sense of how to use these techniques creatively for greatest effectiveness. From there, you can heal your own life.

“EFT is astonishing both in its simplicity and its effectiveness in dislodging and removing emotional hurts and painful memories. I have found it powerful in healing present-time emotional pain (self hatred and self rejection) and in removing the hurt of events long past. In our class I experienced liberation from difficult childhood experiences, and not only was the past healed, but I was empowered through the process so that my current habits of better self care were reinforced and strengthened.

While I have used EFT on myself privately for the past year, I found the experience of being in a group, even a very small one, to be distinctly beneficial. My classmates and I were mutually supportive of each other and we each seemed to have helpful insights into the other’s condition (however, it is a primary tenet of the class that you can share as little or as much as you want. There is no pressure to reveal anything you’re not comfortable sharing with someone else). Also, it is a wonderful experience to see how Rue guides the process by careful listening and questioning. She creates a very comfortable, supportive, and encouraging atmosphere which is totally non-threatening. I’m looking forward to coming to the next class!”

Neuro-Linguistic Programming

- Certified Master Practitioner & Health Practitioner

NLP is a model for understanding how the mind works, how our belief system runs our mental images, words and actions. It assumes that change can take place quickly, without trauma. Instead of spending time analyzing why you have a problem, the NLP model focuses on understanding how you produce it. Instead of asking what’s wrong, NLP asks what do you want, and offers strategies that help you make those changes.

Hypnotherapy

- Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist

Hypnotherapy connects you with the wisdom and unlimited resources of your unconscious mind. Used respectfully, it invites you into a state of deeply relaxed calm, in which you can release limitations and generate new, creative and harmonious ways of being.
