Energy Methods

As an Intuitive Mentor and Spiritual Life Path Coach, I offer several innovative energy-based coaching and self-help techniques based on the newly emerging field of energy psychology (the “Energy Methods”). Energy Methods is a collective term used to refer to a variety of techniques based on the use, modification, and manipulation of energy fields.  These techniques look at and seek to address imbalances within the person’s energy system, as well as the energetic influence of thoughts, beliefs, and emotions on the body.

The prevailing premise of the Energy Methods is that the flow and balance of the body’s electromagnetic and more subtle energies are important for physical, spiritual, and emotional health, and for fostering well-being.  Some of the Energy Methods, such as EFT, use the ancient Chinese meridian system to balance an individual’s energy with a gentle tapping procedure which stimulates designated meridian end points on the face and body.

The Energy Methods were developed to work with the human energy system to help reduce the stress and consequences of traumatic experiences in life and provide a sense of well-being.  Although the Energy Methods appear to have promising emotional, spiritual, and physical health benefits they have yet to be fully researched by the Western academic, medical, and psychological communities and therefore, could be considered experimental.  The Energy Methods I use in my practice are considered “alternative” or “complementary” to the healing arts that are licensed by the State of Colorado.


  • The results appear to be long lasting.
  • The process is relatively gentle in the hands of a skilled practitioner.
  • Most people can apply the techniques to themselves with proper training.
  • It is inexpensive to learn and use and I have found it easy to teach in a group while still maintaining individual privacy.
  • The Energy Methods can be helpful for relieving physical pain, headaches and addictive cravings.

Where it has been useful
EFT appears to provide noticeable gains in many performance areas such as sports, music and public speaking. Those who meditate remark  that EFT allows them to “go deeper” and mental health professionals are reporting dramatic improvements in their clients’ well being.

It has been my experience that EFT is wonderful healing work that is easy to learn, highly effective, and an empowering self care tool that puts the ability to clear your path toward inner peace literally into your own hands. It is best to get started by working with an accomplished practitioner for a time to get experience and a sense of how to use these techniques creatively for greatest effectiveness.
