You've helped me in so many ways, but one of the most significant ways was identifying me as highly sensitive. I no longer view myself as a high maintenance freak. I feel it's very OK to be as cautious and self-protective as I am and, especially, that it's not something that I have to try and get over. I don't have to try and cure this before moving on in life because there's nothing to cure. I understand myself so much better now and that's such a good, comfortable, feeling.
A simple thank you seems so inadequate. But thank you, Rue. You've been an excellent, gentle and wise teacher and I'm so glad I found you.

I have had a hard time getting my work done these past few days, because all I want to do is read your books!
I have just finished reading "This is Where I Stand", and now I will start the tapping from the last chapter. I can't thank you enough for helping me to understand why I have felt this way all my life, and giving good help in coping.

I read your book yesterday. Fascinating! I thought it was very well done. I liked it for so many reasons. It was SO easy to read and understand. It was SO eternally Rue (gentle, sensitive, compassionate). I loved the larger print. I loved the borders around each new idea and the bold type interspersed on each page. I loved the feel of it, the cover, shiny, and exquisite. The you I know and love really came through the book. You write like you are and how you speak in person! I loved, loved, loved it, and I would be honored to send an email out to my entire database, singing your praises, with your permission.

Imagine your mother holding your hand and telling you, "It's OK to be sensitive!"
This is the space that is held for you when you read This is Where I Stand and The 8 Master Keys for Healing What Hurts.
These books are written by the wisest woman I know, and she has created them in a labor of love, for all of us who have the gift of sensitivity.

(Lindsay Kenny, a fellow EFT Master Practitioner, recommended This is Where I Stand to one of her clients. The following is the email she received from that client.)
I'm now at this moment (the one just before now, actually!) on page 49 of Rue's book.
Oh, how wonderful this book is !! talk about validation??!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm glued.
I'm reading this book through TODAY.
I'm already sensing this book is a Turning Point for me in my Life.
Not that I didn't already know most of what I'm reading. I did.
But I feel it INTEGRATING in a new way in me, where I'm at now in my Life, today.
So much of what I thought was WRONG with me, is OKAY!!!
The little things I took for granted as WRONG.
And that I'm not alone in the world with these perceptions of myself in the world.
I suspected this might be true, but not like this!
This is wonderful news.
Thanks for your Intuition about me, and Sensitivity, of course!!!!!!!!! |
