News Article: On science, and why we are here….

Question:
You have been talking a lot about these Sidhe cards.
What does that have to do with EFT?

Response:
The Sidhe cards offer a powerful mirror, an energetic snapshot, of a problem and what drives it, along with how to point ourselves in a healing direction.

Recently, on National Public Radio, I heard a little boy ask a scientist what made him decide to become a scientist.

The scientist said that when he was a young boy, he was beset with questions about WHY he was here, and WHY he was the way he was.

Finally, he said, “I decided that if there were logical answers to those questions, everyone would know them, and someone would have taught the answers to me. I decided that it was better to learn HOW things worked, in myself and in the world. Maybe I could come to the Why through the How.”

We can learn from this. When we ask for “guidance” or when we participate in healing practices of any kind, this is a good focus:

HOW can I offer more useful thoughts and behavior?

HOW did things get this way in my life?
When I get this stuck reaction, what started it?
What led to what led to what?

What do I need to know to change that process?

What is the structure of an issue and HOW does it function?
HOW does a problem/challenge emerge from this function?

HOW can I use this set up to understand myself and my world better?

HOW can I offer more useful thoughts and behavior?

A problem is like an engine. It has a structure, with various parts in place that interact and affect each other. It has a function.

Something holds it together. Something moves it forward. Parts can break down, changing the direction of the movement, or even bringing it to a halt.

If you understand the structure, purpose and function of the engine, you can make changes that help it to work better when something goes awry.

A problem in our lives is similar. If we understand how it functions, and how the parts move together, we can change direction and help our lives to work better.

Finding a solution to the problem is about creating an intention that will act like an engine in your mind, body and spirit.

Whatever healing or awareness technique you are using, begin by thinking about your intention, deep inside. Ask yourself, “What do I want?”

Let yourself go down through several layers of this intention by repeating the question: If I got this outcome from following my intention, what will that get for me, that goes even deeper?

Keep asking that question of yourself, or do it with someone else who is good at eliciting insights, until you find a really deep and pure expression of your intention. This becomes the invitation of the question that you hold in in your tapping, in your metaphor work or in your card reading.

You are asking to become conscious of your inner knowing about:

How does this work in me?
How can I make this work better for me?

Our intention holds a problem or any course of action together.
You have an intention to do, be, have, create, or express something.
You want to initiate and complete your project, but you feel blocked.
You have an intention to change, but a part of the engine is stuck, rusty, flimsy, broken, and it is hanging up the process.

A Sidhe card reading can reveal the stuck places in the engine so that you can see the problem, and the solution, and how the right intention can set something into motion inside, opening a way towards a solution.

Then your tapping session, or other healing work, has a place to start and a path to follow.

With my love and blessing to you,

Rue
